Drybrook started the first half with a very quick try but upton were quick to respond from the restart with some swift passing from captain Oliver Hale (birthday boy), to Thomas then to Edward and out to the wing for Scott to run over in the corner.

From then Upton found their stride and quickly put in some excellent tags to turn over ball then running in with further tries from Lewis and Oliver to lead 3-1.

At half time Upton remained on top of the game with some very quick tags from Keelan and Joshua and then further tries from Scott and Oliver to lead 5-1 Drybrook responded with their two big forwards pushing their way through to score two tries in quick succession to close the gap to 5-3 but Upton were undeterred by some rather heavy handed forwards and pushed Drybrook back into their half with nowhere to run forcing the turnover ball once again, with some well caught tags.

Upton then turned on the pressure with an excellent run in try from Thomas, Drybrook restarted but soon lost possession. Upton seemed to run in circles trying to find gaps but then a quick pass from Dylan found Lewis in space to run in the finale try for Upton as the whistle went for a 7-3 victory for Upton.
