U7 (7 - 4) Win

Players - Sebastian, Cameron, Alexander, Edward, Harry.

Both Tewkesbury and Upton only had 5 players and our tiny taggers, led by captain Alexander Swanston kept up a steady pace against an equally drilled squad from Tewkesbury. A very encouraging performance from our U'7's with some excellent tagging and running, secured Upton with a 7-4 win.

U8 (7 - 3) Win

Players: Keelan, Scott, Oliver, Dylan, Thomas, Edward

Again both Tewkesbury and Upton only had 6 players. An excellent performance saw a concentrated display by the whole squad. Tewkesbury who are a talented side put up a tough challenge but excellent passing and lots of pace from the try scorers managed to overcome their opponents. Fantastic team play by all players, with outstanding performance by Keelan, Oliver.

U7 and U8 Mixed (2 - 2) Draw

To finish the morning we played a mixed U7 and U8 game against Tewkesbury. Both sides played some great rugby, with an end result of a draw built on good defensive play and good passing techniques.

There were cheers all round from the supporting parents and tributes from the coaches on both sides. Out thanks as usual to Tewkesbury for hosting the games and the hospitality shown to Upton afterwards.
