Upton's eagerly awaited title decider with Rugby St Andrews ended with the visitors almost certainly securing the title. In fact even if Upton had won the side from Warwickshire would still have to had lost one more game this season.

Playing against the wind in the first half Upton struggled to get into the opponents half however when they ran the ball they always made large yards, which showed promise for the game.
